FROM TELEVISION SHOWS AND MOVIES that lift the veil on the wine industry to bachelorette weekends
spent tasting in Napa, the concept of scoring and tasting wines and spirits is well established in our cultural
lexicon. Now as cannabis continues to emerge from the shadows of stigma, a burgeoning industry looks to fol-
low in the footsteps of wine, creating new techniques to taste cannabis and working to establish benchmarks
and categories to help categorize and evaluate it. At the forefront of this great experiment is the Emerald
Exchange, a California cannabis events company that strives to celebrate Mendocino's deep connection to
cannabis and bring the Emerald Triangle experience to the rest of the state.
