It can remind users of the correct lubricant and location, identify the proper inter- val, prevent overlubrication and underlubrication with the right quantity, and provide indicators for lubrication and bearing condition. With only a few machine parameters, the LUBExpert can also mon- itor each stroke of grease and its effects on bearing friction and temperature. The Setaflash Series 3 Testers are suitable for laborator y or portable tests and are ideal for use where space is limited. The compact instruments feature a simple user interface with color digital display and touchscreen icons that guide the operator through a straightfor ward test- ing process. A test typically takes less than 2 minutes to perform and requires just 2 milliliters of test sample. The lubricants also comply with the new CK-4 and FA-4 specifications defined by the American Petroleum Institute. The Rubia Optima 1100 15W-40 and 1100 FE 10W-30 both meet the new CK-4 spec- ification. The 1100 FE 10-W30 is designed to lower viscosity and offer fuel economy benefits. The Rubia Optima 2100 XFE 10W-30, which meets the FA-4 specification, enables extra fuel economy by reducing high temperature high shear (HTHS) viscosity.
