Designer Plastics, founded in 1983 in Arab, Alabama, is a printing company at its core. It employs up to 19 people. But the printing does go way beyond business cards and brochures. ey print on plastics, glass, metal, pre-stretched canvas, clothing and so much more. In fact, they joke that if they could fit a person inside one of their digital printers, they could start printing tattoos! Mosley's determination to find the next best printing method has led his company to supply printed parts and inks to national and international companies. Some of their more recent purchases include two new direct-to-garment machines. ese allow one of Mosley's other businesses, Designer DTG, to provide excellent printing quality via a faster process for items such as T-shirts. ey are ramping up their consumer business and expect a big bump in orders for Christmas.
