It's Labor Day weekend. e last
gasp of summer. Floaters meander
down the Missouri, their arms and
legs dangling in the water. An eagle
sores overhead and the buzz of a
drone capturing the perfect angle
breaks the silence. On shore, the
wedding guests arrive. It's smoky and
you'd think that might put a damper
on the occasion, but the result is a
sunset only imagined by the artist's
brush. e bride and groom pose
for pictures as guests gather for
hors d'oeuvres. And that's when the
whispering begins.
"is chicken skewer is so tender!"
"Did you try the flatbread?"
"Who's catering this?"
"Maybe it's a restaurant!"
