we didn't have to. Our dining
neighbor offered us a toast of
his when, through a conversa-
tion in his broken English and
our non-existent Japanese, he
mistakenly thought that we had
bought the $5-million Deep
Impact colt at the Select Sale.
We can all dream, can't we?
After a very memorable eve-
ning at Inakaya, I can concur
with John, David and Dermot
that this restaurant is an ab-
solute must-do on the merit of
both food quality and enter-
tainment. And we weren't the
only ones to think so--you can
also ask the likes of any of a
number of serious A-list celeb-
rities whose photos are shown
to you with pride by the wait
staff in the restaurant's photo
album, whose names we prom-
ised not to divulge.
If you find yourself in Tokyo,
or New York or Abu Dhabi,
don't miss Inakaya.
