"He's an ambas- sador for Carmel Magazine," she says. "I take him to the beach every day and people stop me all the time to ask what kind of dog he is." Several of those encounters have led to clients who are now advertisers in this magazine. "He's the mayor of Carmel Beach," Jill says. "He's super social and has to say hello to every dog he sees." Rocky T his 1½-year-old Miniature Pinscher / Terrier mix is a real bundle of energy. "My office has a window that looks out onto the hallway of our building," Todd Porteous says. "When anyone walks by, Rocky jumps about four feet in the air. He has spring-loaded legs." As brokerage manager of Coldwell Banker Del Monte Realty, Todd oversees 140 agents in seven offices.
