The panoram- ic views of the town and the lake, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, and Walter & Cecil Peak are perfect selfie backdrops. It's even better at night when the Skyline Stargazing tour and Central Otago's clear skies and low levels of light pollution allow an awe-inspiring view of the antipodean night sky, with the Southern Cross visible in the southeast during February.
