A Sophisticated Twist
on Classic Western Style
MT
S
As the executive director of the C.M. Russell
Museum, Thomas Figarelle doesn't want people
to remember him for what he wears.
"How I dress should never overshadow the
history or the message or the conversation,"
he explains.
"I want to maintain professionalism, and to be a
sound representative of the museum and of who
I am as a person."
His has a style one would imagine a modern
C.M. Russell himself would wear – jeans, a
button-down shirt, and cowboy boots.
He has an affinity for dark, neutral colors like
navy blue, gray, dark brown and black, although
he occasionally dons patterned fabrics.
Thomas sophisticates his classic western look
by adding a V-neck sweater and sport coat or
blazer, and he's never without his wedding band
and the Sako watch his father gave him when he
graduated high school.
The father-of-two credits his wife, Amy, for
helping him to develop his "comfortably classy"
sense of style.
"There are also a lot of local fashion options in
Great Falls," he says. "They have local knowledge
and great inventories, and because they know you,
they know how you want to present yourself."
