To convert this small Manhattan bathroom into a luxurious
space, Doris Amsterdam Bachmann removed a hamper
niche and pushed the wall back 1 foot into adjacent closets.
The wall-hung glass vanity measures 24" wide, but includes
two full drawers for storage. A wall-mounted spout and mixer
give everything a clean, uncluttered look. – N.F.M.

The clients wanted to add unique products to this space as well as make it
feel larger. The design team responded by installing a single slab of black
obsidian stone flooring with gold-leaf veining that extends under the vanity.
A matching countertop gives visual continuity, white gloss wall paint adds
brightness, and a mosaic of reflective white thassos marble makes the room
appear larger than it is. – A.H.

The expansive, statement-making entry hall for this open-plan bath features
vanities, asymmetrical cabinetry, his-and-hers dressing rooms, a walk-in
shower, large mirrors, and iron chandeliers. Dressing room accents are
tailored to each client's specifications, and stations within the walk-in shower
accommodate their individual heights and preferences. The distressed
cabinetry finish suits the 19th century farmhouse's style and age. — K.T.
