The Dampier Archipelago is one of the largest turtle nesting sites in the world. Green, Hawksbill and Flatback turtles nest on several beaches from October to February, with hatchlings emerging between December and April. Iron Ore trains in Tom Price can be 2.5km long and require 3 locomotives to haul 35,000 tonnes of ore at speeds up to 80km/hour. 1,249 metres Mt Meharry is the highest mountain in Western Australia.
