On August 17, 2006, Kevin Robinson took
over the University of Memphis track and field
programs. The move was a significant one for
Robinson, as a first-time head coach, and the
University, which would be consolidating its
men���s and women���s programs under one coach
for the first time in the institution���s history.
The move paid sweeping dividends immediately,
with the men���s team winning the University���s
first C-USA track and field championship in
May 2007. Since then, Robinson has coached
many exceptional athletes to the highest levels of
intercollegiate competition.
Now, in his fifth season at the helm, Robinson
looks to build on the more than 200 AllConference USA honorees he���s coached in his
tenure at Memphis.
