competition. In the outdoor
season, Byrd-West also recorded
personal bests in the 100m
(12.16) and 200m (25.28).
Running as a senior, Jasmine Darden
set a personal best in the mile run
(5:08.33) at the Conference USA
Indoor Championships. Darden
picked up two outdoor third-place
finishes in the 800m (2:15.67) at
the Memphis Invitational and
1,500m (4:40.94) at the Joey Haines
Invitational. Both marks were
personal bests.

Anna-Maria Bischof took bronze
and All-Conference USA third team
honors with a throw of 14.30m (4611.00) in the shot put at the C-USA
Indoor Championships. In outdoor
competition, Bischof recorded two
personal bests in the discus (45.53m,
149-04) and javelin (43.15m,
141-07). The Germany native also
recorded two first-place finishes
in the javelin at the Memphis
Invitational (42.59m, 139-09) and
Joey Haines Invitational (42.40m,
139-01).
Vivian Brandhoff scored
points at the Conference USA
Indoor Championships with a
personal-best throw of 14.15m
(46-05.25) in the shot put.
She placed sixth in the event.
While at the conference���s annual
indoor event, Brandhoff also
set a personal best in the weight
throw (16.14m, 52-11.50).
During the indoor season,
Kristen Berding took first
place at the SEMO Redhawks
Invitational, clearing 1.70m
(5-07.00) in the high jump. In
outdoor competition, Berding
recorded her best high jump
at the Memphis Invitational,
leaping 1.71m (5-07.25).

Alisha Fitch had a first-place finish
with a time of 18:12.82 in the 5K at
the Vulcan Invitational. She later
set a personal best in the event
at the Conference USA Indoor
Championships (18:00.52). Fitch
competed in only one outdoor
event, taking fifth place in the 5K
(19:20.75) at the Mississippi Open.
