Removable double-sided turret is suitable for high-vol- ume production of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical tablets, with 45 stations using D tooling, 55 stations using B tooling, and 67 stations using BB tooling. User-friendly touchscreen panel with swing-arm assembly allows the operator to access recipe management, operation screens, alarm history, data acquisition, and audit trail. Other features include a closed feeder and vacuum collection system, upper punch head guards, and upper and lower dust seals and bellows. Optional bi-layer conversion kit allows the press to make up to 160,800 bi-layer tablets per hour. Operator loads filled bottles into a magazine, places the loaded magazine under the press plate, starts the bottle cap- per to press caps onto all of the bottles at once, then removes and reloads the magazine. Multiple magazines may be used and/or pre-loaded to speed production.
