Severe Weather Policy During the event of severe weather, we encourage volunteers, participants, and vendors to seek shelter in a safe enclosed structure away from glass and power lines. All Metro Cruise activities at Rogers Plaza will be suspended if any of the following occur: • When lightning is within an 6-mile radius of Rogers Plaza • City of Wyoming warning sirens are used or an emergency air horn is sounded three times • Metro Cruise organizers identify an approaching strong storm The event and activities may resume thirty minutes following the last flash of lightning per the NWS warning system or lightning detection equipment. The suspension, cancellation, and resumption of Metro Cruise will be announced from the Metro Main Stage at Rogers Plaza, the Metro Cruise Facebook page, and on WLAV 96.9 FM. For the most up-to-date information, please check the Facebook home page f / metrocruise.
