ith 3,369 votes, artisan cheese and specialty food distributor, Gourmet Foods
International, has won the Specialty Food Association's inaugural Fancy Food
Show Booth Contest.
Summer Fancy Food Show exhibitors were encouraged to participate by posting a picture of their booth
on Instagram using #FancyFoodBooth, and entering the contest at specialtyfood.com/fancyfoodboothcontest.
After the show, participants shared their entry and users voted for their favorite booths.
"Those who know us best know our booth and what we stand for—having the most knowledgeable team
to provide the best and freshest products to those who appreciate fine specialty products," said Brea Figura,
marketing manager at Gourmet Foods International.
The company's 20-foot x 60-foot booth featured cheese, cookies, specialty breads, charcuterie, Italian
sauces, grilled vegetables, pasta, pastries, and more from a variety of suppliers.
"No doubt our front cheese display and lineup of our specialty suppliers are impressive, but what catches
everyone's eye from a distance is the Parmigiano Reggiano cave we have set up in our booth," said Figura.
"Doubling as eye candy and our customer meeting space, this display features 300 dummy Parmigiano
Reggiano wheels and a backdrop which transports people into an aging cave in Italy."

that received the most votes.
