Bob Alfred, second tenor, rehearses
with the Great Falls Symphonic
Choir for the Holiday Harmony
concert. Aer singing with the Choir
for about ten years, Alfred recalls his
first audition. "e first time I tried
out in the choir room at CMR , I
almost le," he said. "ere were so
many experienced singers there." He
appreciates the challenging repertoire
and the way music brings diverse
people together. "You can look
around and see we're all different,
but music is the one thing most of
us have in common."

trumpet in his living room.
He played trumpet for five
years, later switching to
singing when he realized the
different breathing techniques
changed his voice.
