Top your meal off with their famous homemade pie made from the same recipe used since the restaurant opened in 1976. ey are open Memorial Day to Labor Day and at the height of the season they also serve lunch and weekend brunch. Two to three nights a week local musicians perform a variety of music from folk to rock to hip hop on the stage out back. Smaller groups and causal jammers can be found perched on the front porch for an audience seated at picnic tables and on the lawn, blending the excitement of live music with a serene seing. As the skies turn rosy followed by a navy blue sky spaered with gliering stars you might find you not only have the contentment of a full belly, but a full heart. e food and drinks are great – but the Northern Lights Saloon is probably more about its extraordinary place and people. ~A love for words and pictures led Kay Bjork to a career as a feature writer and photographer for numerous newspapers and magazines. Her home and family on Swan Lake have been the subject of many of her stories and photographs about their outdoor adventures including skating , skiing and hiking. S MT Diners can sit inside the charming Northern Saloon Bar or outside at one of the picnic tables or even on the lawn on a summer day or evening. The Polebridge Mercantile has been at the center of the tiny community for over a century.
