Every year, alongside the vines, Tenuta San
Guido yields a different kind of vendemmia:
a new crop, a new vintage, of Thoroughbred
racehorses.
And the husbandry is not so very differ-
ent. No less than the grapes, the weanlings
sent to the estate derive benefit from the
same cyclical exposure to land, climate, and
a lore handed down from one generation
to the next.
