The Omni Louisville Hotel has a us-
er-friendly website that explains its of-
fered amenities, complete with opening
times and prices, but given that it will be
at capacity for the Breeders' Cup World
Championships, the standard availability
of some things might be altered. For ex-
ample, during the hotel's first Kentucky
Derby week this May, Falls City Market had
extended hours, but walking up to the spa
without a reservation wouldn't be recom-
mended.
"We really had a great first Kentucky
Derby, and I think we were very well pre-
pared knowing our hotel was going to be
completely full," Mason said. "I think that
will translate with Breeders' Cup World
Championships as well, and we are abso-
lutely looking forward to it.
"These events are fun for us. We get to
bring in outsiders and get them to em-
brace the bourbon and horse culture. For
people who are familiar with it only during
Kentucky Derby time, now they will get to
see it in a different light in the fall thanks
to the Breeders' Cup."
