North Dakota recently completed a distribution study that Montana has invested in and will utilize the recommendations to improve distribution to Montana stores. "Co-ops solve problems that regular markets can't," said Jan Brown, Executive Director of the Development Center. "We will find ways to diminish this distribution problem." Members of all three board of directors tell you that even though progress is ongoing, they are pleased that the stores are fulfilling a distinct need in their communities.
