"Daedalus"
In Greek mythology,
Daedalus was a craftsman
who built the Labyrinth
for King Minos of Crete,
who subsequently impris-
oned him and his son
Icarus to ensure his
silence. Daedalus created
two sets of wings with
which they escaped.
Despite warning Icarus
that flying too close to
the sun would melt the
waxen wings, he did so
and drowned in the sea.
