He received his Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School in December 2013. He and his wife, Christine, reside in Atlanta, Georgia. '08 Robert "Alex" and Jessica (Watson) Cate '08 reside in Maryville with their two children. He is a teacher at Maryville High School, and she is teaching at Colter Grove in Maryville. '08 Joseph K. Stewart is an adjunct professor of Religion at Gulf Coast State College in Florida. '08 Phillip Stokes earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an assistant professor of Arabic at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. 2010s '11 Kristin (Bouldin) Burford accepted the position in 2017 of 10th grade dean of students at Christ Church Episcopal School, where she had served as a history teacher and yearbook adviser. She resides in Greenville, South Carolina. '12 McKenzie (Wampler) Bergenback earned her Master of Science degree in biomedical visualization from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She and her husband, Josh, reside in Ooltewah. '12 Bethany (Waters) Gilliam is a teacher at Statesboro High School in Statesboro, Georgia. She received the FCCLA Master Adviser Award. '12 Christian Hawley completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Creighton University in May 2015. He is a supervising physical therapist at Alliance Therapy Services. He resides in Beaumont, Texas. '12 Megan Hurst-Carter is the owner of Stressless Weddings by Megan in Knoxville. '12 Kayla Beth Moore received her Master of Arts degree in religion and literature from Yale Divinity School in May 2015. '12 Courtney (Hock) Rock is a claims manager for Peoples Health and resides in Marrero, Louisiana. '12 Michelle Shackelford is an associate pastor of Speegleville United Methodist Church in Woodway, Texas. She earned her Master of Divinity degree from George W. Truett Theological Seminary in August 2015. '13 Brandi (Cutshaw) Berven began a new position at the University of Tennessee as the extension specialist in staff development. She also earned her Master of Science degree in information sciences at the University of Tennessee in May 2017. '13 Shilante (Simms) Carter works as a photographer for Lakeway Publishers. She resides in Morristown with her husband, T'erick, and two children, T'antay and T'erick Jr. '13 Landry Duvall is the minister of music at University Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. He now resides in Austin. '13 Kevin Quinby completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in May 2017. '14 Stephen Henderson earned his Master of Science degree in professional science-actuarial science from Middle Tennessee State University. He is employed as an actuarial analyst for Acuff & Associates and resides in Murfreesboro. '14 Kenna (McCully) Livingston is employed as a production assistant with American Airlines. She and her husband, Michael, reside in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. '14 Jordann Allen received her Master of Arts degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in May 2018. '15 Cody Fox is a teacher with Sevier County Schools. Kaitlyn (McLemore) Fox '17 began a new career as a special education assistant with Emerald Charter Schools. '15 Cody Leihgeber is the senior director for Member Journey and Marketing at SOCAP International in Alexandria, Virginia. '15 David Warren is the associate pastor of music and worship at First Baptist Church in Hamilton, Texas. '16 Meridith Hawkins earned the Faculty Award in Biomedical Sciences Thesis Track from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Georgia campus. She was also accepted into the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine for the class of 2022. '16 Kiayna O'Neal received her Master of Science degree in global strategic communication from Florida Institute of Technology in May 2018. '16 Rachel Stankiewitch accepted a position with Second Harvest Food Bank in Central Florida as their Healthy Pantry network coordinator. CLASS NOTES
