Moratorium list changes – December
2018
Removed the following from the list:
ride-on pallet trucks; hydro-excavating
equipment; portable traffic systems/
signals; valve maintenance exercising
equipment; veterinary adjustable tables;
walk behind loaders.
Refined the following definitions:
• Food slicers - definition expanded to
include more types of food pro-
cessing/reducing equipment.
• Powered hand tools - moratorium is
applied to standard powered hand
tools but the exception was expand-
ed to potentially allow 'specialty
tools'; applicability should be as-
sessed through a Request for Con-
sideration.
• Trailers – moratorium is applied to
standard transportation trailers but
the exception is added to allow inter-
ventions that are permanently/
integrally mounted on a trailer.
Vehicle definition refined and is now
exclusively on the "Unapproved Purchas-
es" section of the list.
