As the consumer electronics channel specialist for 2020 Companies, he provides sales and marketing solutions for unmatched customer experiences for some of the top brands in the CE industry. He began his career in CE at North American Publishing (NAPCO), publishers of the retail trade magazines Dealerscope and Technology Integrator, as well as sister consumer magazine Tell (formally E-Gear). Rising to the role of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, he served as Publisher of Technology Tell Network, an influential tech blog, and sales lead for both CE Week and the FutureVision executive conference. Albuck's community activities in his hometown of Philadelphia include serving on the board of directors of Second Helping which makes food available to low-income families in Bucks County, PA. He is also one of the founders of One Bucks, a grassroots organization of faith and lay leaders working together to stop acts of hate in Bucks County. Albuck earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Temple University. He lives in Yardley, PA with his wife Mindy and sons Aaron and Harris. DAVID K. PIDGEON President/CEO, Starpower David K. Pidgeon has served as President/CEO of Dallas-based Starpower since he co-founded the company in 1995. Under his tenure, Starpower has grown into one of America's largest custom home electronics companies. In September 2011, Starpower acquired Ed Kellum & Son, an audio, video and appliance store serving the DFW area since 1948. David is also a principal of the company's nationwide flooring company, StarFloors, Inc. Using his marketing savvy, combined with an unparalleled customer service doctrine, David created a brand image for the company that has attracted an elite clientele of professional athletes, celebrities and Fortune 500 business leaders. David previously served as Executive Vice President of Pidgeon's Home Furnishings, a family-owned and operated company based in Des Moines, IA. Among its many achievements and industry awards, the company was the country's largest seller of satellite systems. For the past four years he has served on the Board of Directors of ProSource, America's largest electronics buying group, and was previously President of Home Entertainment Source Buying Group. Among his numerous industry awards, David was inducted into the Dealerscope Hall of Fame in 2016. A recognized industry leader with over 35 years' experience in home electronics and retail industries, David is a frequent invited speaker, has served on several advisory boards, and is passionate about giving back to the community through the company's many philanthropic endeavors. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 1985 and has been married to Sheryl for 22 years. Together, they have three children: Bryce, 20, a sophomore and collegiate golfer at Trinity University, Jaxie, 19, a freshman at University of Texas, Austin, and Lindsey, 17, a high school senior. A dedicated family man, David has enjoyed coaching his children's competitive sports teams and caddying for their golf tournaments. On the rare occasions when he is not in his office or on the showroom floor, he can be found on a golf course struggling to get his scratch game back.
