I arrived for my first of two visits this December on the
Thursday night before the sale started to find the place
packed with a mix of locals and sales goers. Arqana and Four
Stars Sales' Tony Lacy entertained a large, fun-loving group
of Americans including Joe Miller, Mike Recio, Gray Lyster,
and Justin Casse. The TDN's Kelsey Riley, Equiways's Camille
Vercken, Manneville's Adrien Rambaud, and I were shown to
a table in the corner; the kind of table where you'd have to
ask all of your neighbors to get up and move, and drag your
own table six feet away from the wall if you had to go to the
restroom. I was so close to my neighbors, I felt as if I were
eating their calamari.
