for visitors. The biosecurity zone is the
only internationally recognised Equine
Disease-Free Zone in mainland China.
The whole Conghua site is surrounded
by high electric fences to prevent wild an-
imals from entering the site and getting
near the Thoroughbreds. The entrance to
the site is nicknamed "Jurassic Park" for
