CAM Refrigeration Inc. was founded in 1984 by Tom Cooke, Mike Augenstein, and Russ Miller. Their goal was to establish a light commercial service organization, utilizing our experience to serve the community with quality and integrity. "C" Tom Cooke came from sales with Williams and Company. "A" Mike Augenstein came from Forma Scientific Laboratory equipment refrigeration. "M" Russ Miller came from Knickerbockers Inc. commercial refrigeration. Their first office was in each other's kitchen. In 1987, a move was made to 409 Second Street then to Route 60N. During this time period the partnership was dissolved and Mike assumed ownership. In 1998, Jeanie Durham was added as a partner and office administrator and they relocated to our present location at 641B State Route 821 in Broughton Commercial Properties Complex 1. In 2014, Mike and Jeanie began talks with the employees about taking over day to day operations. Everyone continues to provide the same quality of service their clients have come to know and expect. The plan put in place is: Jennifer Augenstein will take over the office administrators' position. Raymond Bailey will take over service scheduling and employee relations. Phil Peggs will take over installation job sizing, quoting and scheduling. Mike and Jeanie will remain available for assistance throughout this transition. Mike will remain the CFO. They appreciate the trust and confidence their clients have had in them for the last 35 years and look forward to continuing to serve you and the Mid-Ohio Valley for another 35 years.
