CREDENTIALING Page 23 Ronda Thomas Promoted to Vice President of Credentialing Congratulations to Ronda Thomas, CAE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Certified Credentialing Specialist, recently promoted to the position of Vice President of Credentialing. In this position Ronda will be responsible for positioning BICSI's Credentialing Programs for the future. Ronda began her career at BICSI in 2006 as the Manager of Human Resources and has since elevated her career growth through BICSI as Director of Human Resources and most recently as Director of Credentialing. She has more than 13 years of demonstrated association experience with a focus on best practices, policy, procedures, operational and strategic management. Ronda has worked extensively with BICSI Subject Matter Experts and leading ICT industry professionals on dozens of revisions for BICSI's Credentialing Programs. These revisions were developed through Job Task Analysis sessions, Scheme Alignment Studies and Standard Setting Studies conducted at BICSI World Headquarters. Ronda has also served as BICSI staff liaison to the Registrations and Credentials Supervision Committee, whose mission is to develop, maintain and oversee all aspects of BICSI's professional and occupational certification programs for the purpose of providing industry respected, globally recognized and broadly accepted products and services that enhance the abilities and stature of our credential holders. Ronda's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. She is also a Certified Association Executive and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resource certification from the HR Certification Institute and the Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. In addition, she is a Certified Credentialing Specialist through the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. "Ronda has been a great asset to the BICSI team," said John D.
