Continuously acquiring knowledge and experience remains an important component to success. You never know when past experiences and emerging technology can converge and solidify the ongoing efforts to effectively support and possibly influence this rapidly expanding industry. Convergence has been a common theme throughout my journey within the ICT industry. Those experiences have helped me realize the power of convergence not only from a professional perspective, but also from a personal development perspective, including physical health and mental acuity. For me it has been important to keep an open conduit to education and growth, especially in: • The evolving convergence of data communications with other new and expanding technologies. • Understanding the importance of past experiences, even when they may not seem relevant. • Focusing on the power of convergence between personal growth and professional experiences. Let me leave you with a quote from Maria Castañón Moats, U.S. Assurance Leader of PwC: "Cultivate a network of trusted mentors and colleagues. Other people can give us the best insight into ourselves—and our own limitations. We must have the courage to ask for help and to request feedback to expand our vision of what's possible."
