throughout the district. The most recent, BICSI Day
Guatemala, took place 21 February at the Hotel Barceló
Ciudad de Guatemala. As with this event, the activities
below will each have their own academic agenda
and Exhibit Hall. CECs will be granted.

The BICSI Caribbean & Latin America
(CALA) District is happy to announce the
appointment of Ecuador Country Chair
Daniel Faour. Part of the ICT industry since
1986, Daniel is the owner of Casa del
Cable and a member of the Chamber
of Industries and Chamber of Commerce in Guayaquil,
Ecuador. As Ecuador Country Chair, Daniel's chief goal is for
BICSI to gain recognition in the engineering industry and in
universities in Ecuador. Please feel free to reach out to Daniel
