VOLUME 42 I NUMBER 4 I APRIL 2018 VOLUME 43 I NUMBER 3 I MARCH 2019 Introducing the 2019 MACC Board of Directors The Chamber's Board of Directors represent the many segments of the business community in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Each year we announce our officers and those directors newly elected or entering a second term. Kristopher Justice, Partner at TheisenBrock LPA is MACC's Chairman of the Board. Since joining TheisenBrock in 2012, he has worked closely with clients to set up new business entities, buy and sell businesses, draft and revise contracts, and transition businesses to the next generation. He also is involved with TheisenBrock's oil and gas and real estate practices. Kristopher has served on the Board of Directors of the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce since 2015 and its Executive Board since 2018. In addition to serving on the Chamber Board, he is Chair of the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley and Treasurer of the Marietta Morning Rotary Club. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Brandee Norris, traveling, hiking, supporting Cleveland sports teams, skiing, and refereeing soccer matches. Daneka Hedges, Memorial Health Foundation, Executive Director is new to MACC Board of Directors. Daneka became the third Executive Director of the Memorial Health Foundation joining the Memorial Health System in November 2014. Daneka's duties include planning and securing philanthropic support for the Memorial Health System. As the Foundation's primary representative, Daneka develops and coordinates a comprehensive philanthropy advancement program including annual giving vehicles, major gifts and planned giving solicitation programs and grant writing. Prior to this position Daneka was a Development Specialist for the Memorial Health Foundation. Daneka received her Bachelor of Science in Health at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio in 2012 and a Masters in Health Care Administration, Athens, Ohio in 2016. Daneka is a member of the Association for Health Care Philanthropy, Ohio Association of Health Care Philanthropy, Leadership Ohio and holds an officer position at Marietta Noon Rotary. In her free time, Daneka enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling and competitive agility trials/training with her dogs. Bill Stacy, Stacy Family Farm, Owner is another new addition to MACC Board of Direc- tors. Bill was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1973. He then attended Ohio State University-ATI where he graduated in 1976 with an As- sociate Degree in Applied Science. Bill later attended Washington State Commu- nity College where he graduated in 1994 with an Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology/Chemical Processes. He is recently retired from Americas Styrenics. Bill with his wife Janet and children Amanda, Todd and Tyler, work together, own and operate Stacy Family Farm, LLC. He is a member of the North Carolina Strawberry Association, the North America Strawber- ry Association and a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau. He is also active in AgriBusiness Planning and Analysis program at the Washington County Career Center. When not farming Bill enjoys time with family, especially his grandchildren Mackenzie and Hannah…the 6 th genera- tion. JoshWagner, Walmart, Store Manager is also new to MACC Board of Directors. Josh is a graduate of Waterford High School, Washington State Comm. College, and Franklin University with degrees in Computer Programming and Busi- ness Administration. Josh has spent the last 18 years with Walmart, starting in Marietta as part time college help and working his way up, spending the last 16 years in management. In 2010, Josh suc- cessfully completed Walmart's Leadership Academy and was promoted to store man- ager. After spending time as a store man- ager in Greenville, Ohio and Zanesville Ohio, Josh came back to Marietta in 2015. Josh lives in Waterford, Ohio with his wife Jennifer and their children Shelby, Avery, Hensley, and Dawson. He enjoys spending time with his family and watch- ing his children play sports, as well as giving back to his community whether though volunteering or working with Walmart to support local organizations. Many thanks to Terry Rataiczak, Kinetic Networking, who skillfully served the past two years as our Board Chair. His insights, support and leadership contribut- ed to two incredibly successful years. He will continue to serve as the past-chair for 2019-20. Gary O'Brien, O'Brien's Safety Services and Tina Adams, Settlers Bank, have graciously accepted a promotion to the Executive Board of Directors. The MACC Board of Directors are local citizens and business people who live and breathe in the Marietta Area. They all serve on a volunteer basis. They truly are community leaders that care about the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce and having piece of mind to know that they are actively working for the betterment of economic development in our area. It is never easy to bid farewell to the fine busi- ness representatives who are finishing their term on the MACC Board. Responsible for the strategic plan and policies of MACC, these folks are truly dedicated to supporting area businesses.
