Emergencies can
come in all forms:
a car repair, illness,
natural disaster, or
work furlough. e
two things many
emergencies have in
common are that they
are unexpected and
often come with a
large price tag.
Natural disasters are inevitable, and cars
break down. However, you can plan for that
financial hit you are likely to face.
Any emergency plan should also include a
plan for your finances. We all need a "rainy
day" fund to stay afloat when unexpected
expenses threaten to drown us.
Redstone has numerous products and services
to assist you when tough times come.
For example, during the previous
government shutdowns, we offered low-
rate furlough loans, among other things.
However, services such as loan extensions,
skip-a-pay and financial counseling are
available any time members face uncertain
financial situations.
Your money is always accessible through
Redstone's online banking and mobile
banking. Prepare ahead with our Brighter
Day Savings account, designed to grow
your money with a higher rate on funds up
to $2,500. Learn more about this special
savings account on page 3.
Have your pay direct deposited to make sure
your money and other income keep coming
in, regardless of the circumstances. ese
services also provide automatic bill pay
without interruption.
Small business owners also need a plan to
weather the storms. See page 10 for more
information on what types of insurance your
business may need.
Be prepared and stay safe this spring.
