Ohio's Safety Council Members
Save $8.9 Million in 2018
Each Ohio safety council has the same
goal to increase safety awareness. With
more than 83 safety councils, the Ohio
BWC reports the rebate to Ohio
employers is $8.9 million. Locally, our
eligible MOVSC Members saved
$89,116 between the 2% Participation
and 2% Performance Rebates.
Employers not enrolled in a
group-experience rating program are
eligible for the 2% performance bonus to
be calculated and distributed in
upcoming months. The 2% performance
bonus is for those who reduced either
frequency or severity by 10 percent or
maintained at zero.
Group experience rating program
employers who meet rebate eligibility
requirements can earn a 2-percent
performance bonus rebate only.
Group retrospective rating program
employers who meet rebate eligibility
requirements can earn a 2-percent
participation rebate only.
NOTE: The rebate offer excludes
self-insuring employers and state
agencies.

MOVSC Awards 4 Member Companies with Safety Training Grants
Together the MOVSC and the MACC Board of Directors unanimously agreed to give
back to the MOVSC members with an opportunity to apply for one of four $250
safety training grants. The funding is provided by the 2
nd
place Safety Council of the
Year award for 2018. The MOVSC Board acknowledges the top recognition is from
the members of the MOVSC and their outstanding efforts in safety. Together, we
strive to give back to our members to continue that effort. Pictured are grant recipients
representatives from Danser, Inc., Memorial Health Foundation, Solvay Specialty
Polymers and Wetz Warehousing.
