Kate Sand's friend contacted her and said, "Check out
the horse Rosie Napravnik has listed on her website!"
A sane, sound, gorgeous, and smart 4-year-old gelding
bred in Kentucky, he tried racing in Louisiana but just
didn't care for it. He ran three times and made $0. How-
ever, he seems to have eventing written all over him. He's
a big-boned dark bay.
Sand got him in November and let him hang out for a bit
before putting him to work in January. He loves to jump,
is brave, and is a quick study. Sand and her Shamrock
Eventing plan on competing him this fall at the Retired
Racehorse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover. They are
aiming for eventing and jumping.
