Multiple graded stakes winner American Lion stood at
stud at Darby Dan Farm in Kentucky before some time
in Oklahoma. In 2018, he was entered in the Keeneland
November sales where his previous connections got
involved and eventually sent him to New Vocations to
become a pleasure riding horse. From the sales he con-
tracted pneumonia and went to Hagyard Equine Medical
Institute for treatment. The team that saved his life in-
cluded veterinarian Dr. Barry David, who then adopted
him to be his own.
