Besides food, Chong says although Singapore is a densely
populated area, many will be surprised there are so many walk-
ing trails. He recommends the TreeTop Walk, where there is a
250-metre-long freestanding suspension bridge hanging be-
tween the two highest points in the Central Catchment Nature
Reserve. You can capture a bird's-eye view of the forest canopy
from the suspension bridge while embracing the tranquil and
peaceful environment. "The highest point is 25 metres above
the ground, that is up to seven stories high!" Chong also likes
the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve trails for the reason of picking
durians during the early durian season.
The 1,600-metre Singapore Group 1 Kranji Mile will be held
this year on May 25, with prize money of S$1,500,000. Overseas
racehorses will be invited to participate in the event. Racegoers
can watch the pulsating action while enjoying a delicious spread
of buffet dinner with a free flow of beverages at the Singapore
Turf Club's luxurious Casuarina Room.
