This pair work alongside Stilwell and her husband Mark at AIM for Mental Health, a nonprofit dedicat- ed to funding clinical research into mental health for children, teens and young adults. "These guys are incredibly social and adorable," Stilwell says. "During fundraising efforts, donors are smitten. Digby and Scooter open their hearts to people, and those people in turn open their wallets to help AIM." Jazz I f dogs are capable of envy, Jazz would be turning every other dog on the Monterey Peninsula green. That's because she works at the Raw Connection, Carmel's "health food store for pets." This 4-year-old German Shepherd/Bull Terrier mix spends every day behind the counter. "She gets up to say hello to all the people and other dogs that come in," says her owner, Assistant Manager Pam Lowe. The reason for that envy? Jazz gets to test all the new treats and products that the Raw Connection offers. "She helps me to be able to speak knowledgeably about products," Lowe adds.
