This is in a temple in Bagan, Burma. A few years ago, there were 4,500 temples in that city; now there are only 2,500. In contrast to Cambodia, I was pleasantly surprised that I never saw even one Buddha image vandalized in this county." PEPPER VENDOR "Walking through a market, I noticed this woman smoking while selling a basket of peppers and photographed her from the ground. Those shots were okay, but then I climbed some stairs behind her and found this interesting and different perspective on shooting a person."
