8-10 April • Toronto, Ontario, Canada Toronto Congress Centre 8-10 April • Toronto, Ontario, Canada Toronto Congress Centre 2019 2019 ICT Canada—Presented by BICSI Debuts to Nearly 750 Attendees Nearly 750 attendees walked the floors of the Toronto Congress Centre for ICT Canada— Presented by BICSI. The three-day conference attracted a global audience including representatives from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Qatar, Taiwan, Turkey and Bermuda. Learning and knowledge sharing began early during Monday's Pre- Conference Seminars. Session topics included smart building infrastruc- ture and advanced AV system trends, plus many others. A special Pre-Conference Seminar and EduTour of the world-renowned and innovative intelligent building, Cisco Canada Headquarters, offered a special off-site pre-conference event. Opening keynote presenter, Wes Johnston, CEO of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), shared his insight on the future of ICT and how business, government and associations should work together to drive industry innovation. Following his address, the Exhibit Hall opened with 43 exhibiting companies that were present to showcase their products and services and network with attendees. ICT Canada—Presented by BICSI also saw the debut of the Tech Innovation Stage, an exclusive presentation stage inside the Exhibit Hall. A total of 20 peer-reviewed technical sessions took place at the conference, covering areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent buildings, smart cities, 5G wireless and much more. New to a BICSI event, all technical conference presentations at ICT Canada—Presented by BICSI have been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for AIA Learning Units.
