YOUTH INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL
This instruc onal program prepares volleyball players for
league play, once they are a li le older. The program fo-
cuses on teaching the fundamentals of volleyball.

This is a recrea onal league. Players will spend their me
prac cing drills, teamwork, and learning the fundamentals
of volleyball. This will be their first experience compe ng
against other teams their age. Games will be best of 3
games to 11 points.

JUNIOR GIANTS
Carson City Parks and Recrea on and the Boys & Girls Club
of Western Nevada are partnering together to offer this
amazing program, sponsored by the San Francisco Giants.
Junior Giants is a free, non-compe ve, coed baseball pro-
gram designed to reach into communi es and offer youth
the chance to learn the basics of baseball during the sum-
mer, while discovering the importance of self-esteem and
respect. Registra on is required.

Dodge, duck, dip, and dive. This is a drop-in program, so
grab your friends and come down to the MAC. All that is
required is the MAC drop-in fee and a desire to have fun!

ANNUAL NIGHT UNDER THE LIGHTS SKATE-
BOARD AND SCOOTER COMPETITION
Sponsored by The Wheelhouse
This will be a freestyle compe on where par cipants re-
ceive three 40 second runs to put together their best lines
and biggest tricks. NEW THIS YEAR: The skate park will be
lighted for the later por ons of the compe on a er dark.
A er each run, par cipants will be judged by experienced
ska ng pros from the Wheelhouse, and the winner of each
category will receive a prize! Categories are divided by
beginner, intermediate, and advanced for skateboarding
