For Beth and Martin Lewis, this prioritized list included staying within the Helena city limits, a modern style, and a view. Knowing their lot choices were extremely limited, they accepted the challenge of building at the base of Mt. Helena. B SiG MT 24 Backer board siding and a rough-cut fir staircase adorn the front façade. Additional wood accents, pre-treated and maintenance free, emphasize the oversized windows. The garage doors are translucent allowing for natural lighting and no need for windows. The stone surround provides a textured contrast to the ultra- smooth look of glass.
