"He created you for success," Mike says. "We're out to help whoever is willing for us to help them." For the past four years, the Neubauers have held informal Bible studies and church services in a small area inside their commercial business building, JSK Cleaning. e gatherings at Branded by Fire, also known as the Great Falls House of Prayer, are passionate, non-judgmental, unapologetically raw, and open to everyone. But the Neubauers don't just wait around and hope people will show up. ey hit the streets – praying with drug addicts on the sidewalk, ministering to the homeless, and spreading hope during impromptu church services in the park. ey're also making plans to help establish a sanctuary in Sindy's native country, where orphans, widows, and those in need can go for shelter and to build on their own relationships with God. "e people are the church, not the building," Mike says. "Too many people worship the blessings, and not the blesser." "We don't just want to listen," Sindy adds. "We want to hear people. It is about community." Branded by Fire Ministries and the Great Falls House of Prayer is located at 200 9 th Street North in Great Falls. Prayer services are held Tuesday at 8 p.m., and Saturday at 1 p.m., with a church service Sundays at 10 a.m. Mike can be reached at 406-217-5441. Holly Matkin and her family live on her great- grandparents' homestead south of Havre. She works as a freelance writer for various local and national publications, and especially loves spending time in the Montana backcountry. S MT Church and prayer services take place at least three times per week. SiG MT 44
