Day 1: Arrive Victoria (D) Welcome to Canada! You will be met at Victoria International Airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner. Two Night Stay: DoubleTree by Hilton. Day 2: Victoria – Butchart Gardens (FB) This morning, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Learn about the history and flora while exploring the colourful gardens. Afterwards, enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria. Discover More: Take a horse and carriage ride, or go whale watching. Day 3: Georgia Strait – Whistler (FB) Drive along Vancouver Island to Nanaimo. Board the BC Ferry and travel through the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. Journey along the Sea to Sky Highway to the charming alpine resort of Whistler. Discover More: Bear viewing tour. Overnight Stay: Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. Day 4: Whistler – Sun Peaks (FB,HD) Travel the scenic Duffy Lake Road into the town of Lillooet. Head to the picturesque ski resort of Sun Peaks. You're Invited: Enjoy a fur trader's feast and presentation accompanied by a tranquil canoe journey. Overnight Stay: Cahilty Hotel. Day 5: Sun Peaks – Banff (FB,HD) Enjoy glimpses of the soaring mountains as you make your way through the three spectacular National Parks of Mount Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho, towards the Canadian Rockies. Arrive into Banff National Park, where you'll catch the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Enjoy the sweeping views while dining on a hearty meal. Two Night Stay: Elk + Avenue Hotel. Day 6: Banff at Leisure (FB) Today is free for you to enjoy Banff. Discover More: Discover wolfdogs, helicopter flight, outback dinner and wagon ride, or a float trip. Day 7: Banff – Emerald Lake (FB,D) Morning sightseeing tour including Bow River, the Hoodoos and Bow Falls. On the way to Emerald Lake, see the 'Diamond in the Wilderness', Lake Louise and the spectacular Natural Bridge. Emerald Lake is so called due to the vibrant turquoise colour of its waters which is surrounded by majestic peaks. Two Night Stay: Emerald Lake Lodge. Day 8: Emerald Lake (FB) Today is yours to enjoy your authentic Rockies lodge and the spectacular surroundings. Day 9: Glacier 'Ice Explorer' – Jasper (FB,D) Travel along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you'll climb aboard the 'Ice Explorer' for a journey onto the Athabasca Glacier. The day's end finds us in Jasper National Park, an alpine wonderland of pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife where you will be taken to the beautifully carved Maligne Canyon. Overnight Stay: The Crimson or similar. Day 10: Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops (FB,L) Set off on "The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World". Settle back in your SilverLeaf carriage (upgrade to GoldLeaf at additional expense) and enjoy incredible views of the soaring mountains including Canada's highest peak, the 3954 metre Mount Robson. Overnight Stay: Kamloops Hotel (as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer). Day 11: Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver (FB,L) Continue our journey on the Rocky Mountaineer following the Thompson River and passing into the Fraser Valley. Late afternoon arrival into Vancouver. Two Night Stay: Residence Inn by Marriott. Day 12: Vancouver Sightseeing (FB,D) Set-off on a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the waterfront and Gastown. Make an enthralling visit to the 4D virtual reality experience of FlyOver Canada, then head to Stanley Park to see the intricately carved totem poles. This evening, visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and make your way across the bridge suspended 70 metres above the river, then walk amongst the canopy on the Treetops Adventure. Finish with an inspiring dinner at Capilano. Day 13: Vancouver – 7 Night Alaskan Cruise (FB,D) This morning, board your luxurious cruise ship. Check into your Outside Stateroom on the Holland America ms Westerdam or ms Noordam and settle-in for an unforgettable 7 night voyage through the famed Inside Passage. Day 14: Cruising the Inside Passage (FB,L,D) Spend the day cruising the Inside Passage, one of the world's most spectacular waterways. Day 15: Ketchikan (FB,L,D) Welcome to the salmon capital of the world! Part of the town is built along a steep hillside, part is built on pilings over the water. Day 16: Juneau (FB,L,D) Surrounded by the Gastineau Channel, the Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau Icefields, Alaska's capital is famed for its scenery and isolation. Day 17: Skagway (FB,L,D) Established in 1897 as a trading post for prospectors headed to the Klondike Gold Rush, Skagway's colourful past is carefully preserved in the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park. Day 18: Glacier Bay (FB,L,D) Enter the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park, where spectacular glaciers flow into the bay. A National Park Ranger will help you spot wildlife, while explaining glacial activity. Day 19: Scenic Cruising (FB,L,D) Take advantage of the ship's many outstanding facilities, or simply watch the scenery glide by. Day 20: Seward – Anchorage (FB,D) Disembark in Seward and enjoy a scenic rail journey aboard the cruisetrain. Glaciers, canyons, waterfalls and spectacular scenery await at every turn. On arrival in Anchorage, be taken on a tour. Two Night Stay: The Hotel Captain Cook. Day 21: Portage Glacier Cruise (FB) Head to Portage and take a cruise to Portage Glacier for fantastic views of the blue-white icebergs that decorate the lake. Travel to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre which is a refuge for orphaned and injured wildlife. Day 22: Anchorage – Denali State Park (FB,D) Get our first taste of the vast natural beauty of Alaska as we travel north from Anchorage to Denali State Park.
