r e d f c u.o r g | 5 "We are very lucky Redstone has chosen us as a group to support here in Murfreesboro," said Patience Long, Executive Director at e Center for e Arts. "Along with the financial support, several of their employees have proven invaluable to our cause. Redstone shows up to do the work – spending hours to chair committees, as well as raise funds and awareness." is support has led to more Rutherford County children benefiting from the performing arts, thanks to after-school and summer camp scholarships. One scholarship recipient is a touching example of the power of the arts. After one year with e Center, her reading improved three levels, all thanks to her determination to read her theater scripts. Now, she is reading on the same grade level as her classmates. Similar success stories are also found further south at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center (FLCAC), Inc. "Redstone's support has allowed us to provide scholarships to those pursuing the arts after high school," said Ron Hackett, President of FLCAC. "One of our latest recipients will be studying art therapy as a result of her time with our group, and another hopes to become a concert pianist. ese two artists saw their dreams grow thanks to Redstone." Redstone members can help the arts even more. Volunteer, donate to a favorite group and attend a class or performance. When you attend a theater production in Murfreesboro or the Southern Weekend of Art in Fayetteville on September 27-29, you help these groups reach more people and continue to build up their communities. Ron Hackett and Jennifer King lead the Fayetteville-Lincoln Count y Arts Center. Patience Long is E xecutive Director at The Center for The Arts.š
