Another woman, Kate Clya, confidently moves back and forth along the plank with a vaccination gun, vaccinating each beef and helping prod them into the catch where David will administer the dewormer. Kate is the Mannix's 28-year-old apprentice. Second year Quivira ranching apprentice Kate Clyatt takes a moment to relax after helping vaccinate beeves on the Mannix Brother's Ranch near Helmville, Montana in the Blackfoot River Valley.
