The medical assistant, also a liaison between the doctor and patient, is of vital importance to the success of the medical practice. Employment is found in physician offices, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to register and sit for a national certification test. Program Notes: Practicum hours are site specific and may require attendance any day of the week, including during unscheduled days and times.
