ince 1984, the Mohr family name has been
associated with classic and sports cars on
the Monterey Peninsula. Literally thousands of
cars have passed through the hands of Adam
and father Al Mohr, uniting collectors, auction
houses, museums and enthusiasts with some
of the most desirable models ever assembled.
In 2007, Adam took the reins of the business
and looked more at the global market, which
was rapidly growing. Mohr has bought, sold,
consigned and stored marques from Ferraris to
Porsche, Ford to Puget.
"There's nothing better than hopping in our
1957 Porsche 356 A Coupe and driving out in
the foothills of Carmel Valley," Mohr says. "It's
been an honor to live and work in our special
car community."
Mohr's favorite event during August's Car
Week is Carmel's Concours on the Avenue,
because, he says, everyone arrives into town
with energy that you can just feel. Mohr and
family are proud to share their 35th anniversary
and welcome the public to their showroom
and to stroll through their 8,000-square-foot
warehouse. You never know what might be
for sale, ready to be plucked and enjoyed by
new owners.
