Administrative Regulations are amended, adopted or deleted as necessar y and are subjec t to a formal approval process. Administrative Regulations are referenced by a number, which corresponds with the regulations on the MCCCD website: ht tps://distric t.maricopa.edu/regulations Some regulations include reference to Arizona Revised Statutes from the State of Arizona and are noted as "AR S" followed by a reference number. 2.4.1 General Statement The Maricopa Communit y Colleges are dedicated to providing a healthy, comfor table and educationally produc tive environment for students, employees and visitors. 2.4.2 Nondiscrimination Policy (see 5.1.1 Maricopa EEO Policy) It is the polic y of the Maricopa Distric t (consisting of Chandler- Gilber t Communit y College, the Distric t Of f ice, Estrella Mountain Communit y College, GateWay Communit y College, Glendale Communit y College, Maricopa Skill Center, Mesa Communit y College, Paradise Valley Communit y College, Phoenix College, Rio Salado Communit y College, Scot tsdale Communit y College and South Mountain Communit y College) to: Recruit, hire, and promote in all job groups, and to ensure that all Human Resources (HR) employment selec tion and decision prac tices do not discriminate, nor tolerate discrimination in employment or education, against any applicant, employee, or student on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identit y, national origin, citizenship status (including document abuse), age, disabilit y, veteran status or genetic information.
