he PCBC attendees had access to in-depth presentations
and education sessions led by thought leaders from
multiple industry facets and business sectors, to energize
the homebuilding profession with inspiration and innovative
thinking. Education, the flagship of PCBC, provided the attendees
with tangible learnings that they could immediately apply to their
businesses and careers. Keynote speakers Allison Levine and
Sekou Andrews delivered impactful speeches that inspired,
re-energized and empowered the entire cross-section of the
housing community.
The show floor gave the industry an experience of more than 300
top manufacturers and suppliers who showcased their innovative
new products, design ideas, green building solutions and
technology enhancements. The exhibitors brought to life the
significant trends now shaping the industry, including connected
home technologies that make homes more valuable and personal;
virtual technology that allows houses to be viewed across the
world, or even before they are built using new AR, VR, and live
streaming technologies; responsible home building that highlights
energy saving initiatives, greater family flexibility and ADA
compliance; autonomous home automation that uses sensors and
AI technology to analyze the home environment; and mobile
technology that allows all homebuilding team members to
communicate electronically using software and SaaS solutions.
PCBC 2019
