Dr. Tony Puente will provide his highly anticipated yearly update talk on developments in coding and reimbursement. This year, we are pleased that Drs. Neil Pliskin and Puente will also provide an expanded 2-hour interactive workshop on understanding and working with new testing codes. You will not want to miss the workshop, "Beyond RVUs – Expanding neuropsychology's role in patient care and getting off the productivity treadmill," led by Drs. Sawyer, Arredondo, and Mizuki. Additionally, we are fortunate that Dr. Vaile Wright (Director of Research and Special Projects at the American Psychological Association, Dr. Deb Adler (Healthcare Consultant), and Dr. Jonathan Woodhouse (Director of Psychology at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare and Chair of the NAN PAIC) will provide us with an update on the efforts being led by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid to shift to new reimbursement mechanisms. #NANDiego will also include a series of five, one-hour Paper Sessions.
